Taste notes:
The taste of this tea, like a black currant, is tart and earthy, with sweet murmurs. Kenyan Currant combines healthy black currants with Kenyan Purple tea from the great Rift Valley.
From a healthy perspective, this tea has a few heavy hitters. Black currants are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, while purple tea, with high amounts of anthocyanin, is antioxidant rich. Along with antioxidants from the adaptogenic butterfly pea flowers, this blend is an antioxidant super-kicker. Kenyan Currant is delectable. Don’t expect it to be berry sweet, but rather complex and layered and its various hues of purple are beautiful and robust. This tea is a chilled tea favorite and is also superb hot!
